Location

This international class hotel is situated on the Upper Lake Road, 14km from Nuwara Eliya. The Tea Factory is close to the waterfalls, parks, botanical gardens and natural primeval forests. A train station is also about 21 kilometers away from the spot. The location gives guests the perfect opportunity to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. The hotel’s rooms are contemporary and adorned with a tropical theme which flawlessly captures the ambiance of this area. The Rooms

The hotel has the best accommodation in Nuwara Eliya. It has 54 comfy rooms on four floors which were converted from withering lofts.

The full-length window which once helped control temperature for the drying leaves now ensures that the hotel rooms are inundated with natural light, at the same time, offering spectacular views of the tea plantations.

A key element in the rooms is wood. The doors, cupboards and shelves are still in their natural colors. Free bottles of water (Hethersett) come from a spring and is pure & natural. All rooms are also supplied with tea leaves from their own plantation. The furnishings are all locally made, from the prints displaying local villagers exchanging goods to the custom-made toiletries.

The fourth floor of this hotel is a non-smoking floor.

All the rooms are accessible to wheelchairs and they offer driver quarters when a guest already has their own driver. They also offer free Wi-Fi in all rooms, as well as 24-hr room service and laundry service.

Babies in the hotel can receive free cots and children can receive an extra bed on request.

For something entirely different, the TCK 6685 restaurant offers guests the chance to eat in a transformed 1930s railway carriage and be served by attendants amid refined teak and brass. If guests want something lighter, the hotel’s Hethersett Bar provides a range of snacks and international wine, beers & spirits.

At Heritance Tea Factory, tea time is every time. The Goatfell Bar offers guests a place to relax their feet with a refreshing cuppa as they treat themselves to a wonderful high tea.

The Spa & Other Activities

The hotel’s own line of mixed pure massage oils with pure herbal cosmetics made in Sri Lanka are used in the on-site spa. They are crafted from the best natural ingredients.

The Diviyan Spa manages it, and the professional therapists are trained in Indonesia at a spa center. The spa ensures that guests have a soothing, rejuvenating, pleasurable and memorable experience.

The Misty Morning Spa provides a full range of services. Guests can choose from body treatments, massage therapies, facials and also nail care. They also have a selection of packages where
treatments are combined.

The spa has three treatment rooms, a Jacuzzi, and a small steam room. The water comes from the hotel’s mountain spring.

Guests who visit are asked to book well in advance and arrive 10 minutes early for their appointment and fill the consultation form. Guests who come for a massage may use the steam room with the Jacuzzi before the treatment or after.

As well as the live music entertainment in the Kenmare Restaurant nightly, the hotel has an assortment of theme nights which include oriental bands, piano music, magic shows and fun cultural shows.
