Las Vegas Isn’t Just About Partying & Gambling! Explore its Other Side Too

Most people will nod in agreement with this statement, whether they’ve been to Vegas or not. Say Las Vegas, and you think about casinos, gambling, strip clubs and its edgy nightlife. We don’t blame you for this? It is because the world has always told us to explore Vegas from the bold side.

However, there’s more to this North American city than just gambling and partying. Its history, culture and the other attractions all give a more wholesome feel to the place.

When you first explore Vegas, you’ll be quite inadvertently seduced by the infamous strip. With upscale casinos, bars, strip clubs, music and dance shows and circus-style acts, you’ll feel sinful and enlivened. However, don’t just stop at that. Explore its other side too. You can learn more on this page about poker and online gambling as online gambling is a lot more fun.

Let’s show you some other aspects that makeup Vegas’s other side:

Downtown Container Park

This park in Vegas is a perfect place to lounge in the sun after a hungover night or to just shop. Oh, and if you’re a little sporty too, this Downtown park also offers large grounds to indulge in whatever games you’d like to play. The vibrant atmosphere of Las Vegas adds to the excitement of playing a game of pool, making it a great activity for a night out on the town. If you are a person who doesn’t know your way around a pool table or how to hold a pool stick never fear – this blog has all the tips you need to get the ball rolling!

More interestingly, after 9-pm, the place turns into a lively haven for young professionals and adults to socialise and network. With some cool live music in the background, this park offers light-hearted fun every day.

Boneyard at the Neon Museum

This is one place in Vegas has preserved some elements of history. Here you’ll see some interesting neon symbols from the remote past on display. They not just look vibrant in their neon colours, but also make for great photo ops. From the camels of Sahara to the iconic four-leafed clovers, this museum will captivate you!

Zappos

Zappos, an online shoe and clothing retailer is based in Las Vegas. Their headquarters here make for another engrossing place, where you can get an insider’s perspective on various aspects. From all the workspaces and the culture and action that defines them, this is a place which all business-minded people will love!

Freemont West

An ideal Vegas experience should include the ‘Fremont experience.’ This street in the city is buzzing with energy and offers varied kinds of experiences. From free concerts, dance parades and light shows, this street offers an experience that is sure to stay with anyone. Ziplining is another fun thing to try here, that promises to be like the cherry on top of your overall experience in the street.

However, safety measures should be taken while trying ziplining to avoid any accidents. You can also buy travel insurance online that offers reimbursement of medical expenses incurred due to admission to hospital or that incurred on medication and treatment. Tata AIG’s insurance policy can be easily bought online and offers 24*7 support to help with all your concerns and doubts.

Gold Spike

Once a casino, this place is now a bar with exciting recreational games for people to engage in after a day at work. From life-sized Jenga to Beer Pong that can be played with Dixie cups, this is a perfect place to head to, to enjoy beer, live band music and of course the games! This place also offers some excellent food, which makes it a must visit place while in Vegas!

Lake Mead and Hoover Dam

This is another attraction that is central to the quintessence of this vibrant city. Explore Lake Mead whose scenic beauty is further enhanced with the Hoover Dam. The dam is considered a treasure in the state of Nevada, because of its architectural and engineering brilliance. Moreover, without this dam, the glitz and neon that defines Vegas wouldn’t have been possible.

Red Rock Canyon

The Red Rock Canyon is a  national conservation site in the Mojave Desert. It is another beautiful site worth seeing where you can enjoy hiking and camping, along with seeing the geology, wildlife and natural resources of Vegas. Moreover, to add to this, the book and gift stores here, give visitors a perfect opportunity to shop for your loved ones!

Travel Safe with A Travel Insurance Plan

Travelling to exciting places is sure fun. However, certain things like lost luggage, sudden medical emergencies or cancelled flights can spoil your mood. To cover yourself against such contingencies, buying a travel insurance online can be a wise thing to do.

Buy a travel insurance policy well in advance, right after you plan your trip. Reimbursements will save you a lot of worries that come with issues like losing your passport or luggage, flights getting delayed and others like these.

The world knows Vegas a certain way, but when you travel, see it in all its entirety. You’ll not just love the edginess and entertainment it offers but also appreciate it for the other wonderful things it offers.

So, when you explore Vegas, go the whole way and have the best time of your life!

This is a great article! I too avoid the glitzy part of Las Vegas. We used it as our fly in location to see the National Parks. Vegas is central to some of the best parks in the US. We especially loved Red Rocks taking some good hikes. , Thank for the tip on the Boneyard.for our next visit.
